City Facilities Winter Maintenance

The City of Vaughan is responsible for ALL City owned facilities. 

Plowing commences when the City of Vaughan declares that accumulation of snow has reached 5 cm. as follows:

• Fire Stations, City Hall & Joint Operations Centre addressed immediately
• Community Centres and Libraries addressed within 4 hours after snow fall has ended
• Park Parking Lots, Pump Stations, unmanned buildings addressed within 8 hours after snow fall has ended

To report a municipal emergency or problem that requires immediate attention, call Service Vaughan at 905-832-2281. 

The following problems are considered to be a municipal emergency request:

• Icy surface conditions
