In order to preserve the quality of City of Vaughan sports fields, staff maintain the fields with the assistance of the Managing Use on Premium Fields Policy and Wet Field Policy (PDF). If there is a heavy rainfall (10 millimeters within an eight-hour period) and saturation on the sports fields, they may be temporarily closed.
