Curb Repair
Curbs are important to collect and transport water to storm drainage outlets. Defects are identified through routine patrols by City staff. Should repairs be required, work will be prioritized and scheduled.
Sidewalk Repair
Walking is good exercise and a great way to meet the people in your neighborhood. The City encourages "Active Living", and in Vaughan, we are doing our best to make sure your walk is a safe one.
City staff inspects all sidewalks annually for deficiencies which may be deemed a hazard to sidewalk traffic. Once we have completed our inspection, the deficiencies are prioritized according to severity. Repairs range from saw cutting or grinding of a trip edge, to the complete removal and replacement of the deficient section of sidewalk.
